    Abstract: Pedestrians are the most vulnerable road users compared to other road users. To create a pleasant walking environment, we need an environment that can provide security for pedestrians. One of the busy pedestrian lanes is the PB Sudirman Corridor area, Pare District which is a commercial area in Kediri Regency. The purpose of this study is to see how safe a path for micro scale pedestrians can then be used as input in the process of improving lane design. The method used in this study is the Pedestrian Environmental Quality Index (PEQI) method that assesses the quality of pedestrian pathways with five variables namely crossing safety; traffic; pedestrian track design; land use; and Safety and walkability variables. The results showed that the quality of pedestrian lanes in PB Sudirman Road Corridor Area has an inadequate quality average at the intersection and only has basic facilities for pedestrians on the lane, so efforts are needed to improve the quality of pedestrian lanes.

    Abstract: TransJogja merupakan transportasi umum yang diciptakan dengan tujuan dapat mengurangi penggunaan kendaraan pribadi dan menggeser preferensi masyarakat untuk menggunakan moda transportasi umum sebagai moda utamanya dalam bermobilisasi. Transportasi ini telah dikembangkan sejak tahun 2008 dengan total jalur sebanyak 17 rute, 129 armada, dan 267 halte yang tersebar di Kota Yogyakarta, Kabupaten Sleman, dan Kabupaten Bantul. Penempatan simpul transit merupakan salah satu penentu peran halte di wilayah sekitarnya. Lingkungan Binaan yang compact di sekitar halte dapat menjadi atribut penting dalam peningkatan jumlah penumpang karena dapat menciptakan kawasan berbasis transit yang mampu mengurangi waktu perjalanan dan meningkatkan kemudahan pengguna. Penelitian ini membahas tentang karakteristik lingkungan binaan di sekitar Stasiun BRT dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif berdasarkan 3 variabel yang diperoleh dari teori Transit Oriented Development (TOD). Kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik halte transit TransJogja belum sepenuhnya menerapkan konsep dasar TOD yang dapat mengurangi kemacetan dan penggunaan kendaraan pribadi dalam bermobilisasi. Hal itu dapat terlihat dari karakteristik kepadatan penduduk, variasi guna lahan, dan kepadatan persimpangan yang ada.
