Abstract:
To the author's knowledge, the current study provides the most comprehensive characterization of the sarcoma tumor immune microenvironment to date through the use of gene expression analysis, immunohistochemistry, and T‐cell receptor sequencing. The results demonstrate that some sarcoma subtypes, such as synovial sarcoma, are immunologically quiet, whereas others, such as undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma, are highly inflammatory and could be susceptible to immune checkpoint inhibition.
