Abstract:
Die Exercise Dependence Scale (EDS-R) ist ein Instrument zum Screening von Sportsucht. Primäres Ziel der Studie war die Übersetzung des Fragebogens ins Deutsche und eine Replikation der Faktorstruktur. An einer Stichprobe von deutschsprachigen Studenten wurde mittels konfirmatorischer Faktoranalysen die Anpassungsgüte der amerikanischen Faktorlösung überprüft. Die sieben Faktoren ließen sich gut replizieren, jedoch bedürfen die Items des Faktors 5 („Reduction of Other Activities“) einer Überarbeitung. Im Vergleich mit anderen Instrumenten (Fragebogen zur Erfassung sportlicher Aktivität; Short Evaluation of Eating Disorders SEED, Exercise Motivations Inventory EMI-2) ergaben sich erste Hinweise auf Validität. Die replizierten Skalen der deutschen Version sind zur Erfassung von Symptomen einer Sportsucht insgesamt gut einsetzbar. Eine Diagnose sollte jedoch nur mittels zusätzlicher klinischer Beurteilung gestellt werden.
