Abstract:
A foliculite mural granulomatosa canina é uma causa muito rara de alopecia cicatricial de patogênese desconhecida. Hipótese / objetivos Relatar um caso de foliculite mural granulomatosa em um cão tratado com ciclosporina (Cs) e metotrexato (MTX). Animal Uma cadela de 13 anos de idade, castrada, da raça pastor dos Pirineus, com um mês de história de alopecia cicatricial. Métodos e resultados O exame histopatológico revelou foliculite e furunculose mural granulomatosa, linfocítica e necrosante. A imunoquímica, utilizando anticorpos para CD3, CD204, CD206, IBA‐1 e CD208, revelou que os linfócitos CD3 + infiltravam‐se na bainha da raiz externa juntamente com as células IBA‐1 + ou CD204 +. A ciclosporina (5 mg / kg uma vez ao dia) e o MTX (0,25 mg / kg uma vez por semana e depois 0,5 mg / kg uma vez por semana) foram iniciados simultaneamente, e a Cs foi interrompida após a estabilização das lesões. A dermatopatia do cão permaneceu estável por seis meses. Conclusões e importância clínica De acordo com o conhecimento dos autores, este é o primeiro relato do manejo a longo prazo de foliculite mural granulomatosa em um cão. Ciclosporina e MTX parecem ser uma opção eficaz de tratamento. São necessários mais casos tratados para se avaliar a eficácia do MTX em doenças imunomediadas caninas.
