Abstract:
Systematische Untersuchungen zur 11 B‐Kernresonanz an Verbindungen vom Typ Me[BX 4 ] und BX 3−(n + m) Y n Z m (X, Y, Z = H, R, NHR, NR 2 , OR, F und in einigen Fällen Cl, Br, J) sowie deren Trimethylamin‐Addukten ergeben, daß sich die chemische Verschiebung δ 11 B nicht additiv aus Ligandeninkrementen abschätzen läßt. Bei [BX 4 ]⊖‐Verbindungen ist δ 11 B sowohl von der Elektronegativität als auch von Anisotropie‐Effekten der Liganden bestimmt, während bei den dreibindigen Bor‐Verbindungen die π‐Wechselwirkung einen entscheidenden Beitrag zur chemischen Verschiebung beisteuert. δ 11 B wird hauptsächlich von den ‚Erstliganden’︁ bestimmt, d. h. jenen Atomen, die direkt an das Boratom gebunden sind. Sie ist auf Grund empirisch ermittelter Faktoren vorauszusagen und besitzt deshalb analytischen Wert.
