Abstract:
L'étude du contenu palynologique des sédiments détritiques et carbonatés, discordants sur le socle métamorphique hercynien de la bordure du Système Central espagnol et du secteur occidental de la branche castillane de la Cordillère Ibérique, permet de discuter l'âge de nombreuses unités lithostratigraphiques de cet ensemble de dépôts jusqu'au Trias supérieur. Douze associations palynologiques bien conservées ont été identifiées. Leurs âges s'étendent du Permien inférieur (Autunien) au Trias supérieur. Le Permien inférieur est constitué, en grande partie, par des faciès gris et noirs déposés dans des bassins, petits et mal connectés, de t\pe «demi-graben ». Les faciès rouges de ces sédiments permiens n'ont pas pu être datés par la pahnologie et d'autres critères ont dû donc être utilisés. Les faciès de type «saxonien » sont discordants sur l'Autunien ou sur le Paléozoïque métamorphique. Ils contiennent localement des associations palynologiques d'âge Permien supérieur ou peut-être, dans certains cas, Permien moyen. La base du Buntsandstein a également un âge Permien supérieur (Thuringien) dans certaines zones du secteur sud-occidental de la branche castillane de la Cordillère Ibérique. Dans le Trias, diverses associations palynologiques aussi bien d'âge Anisien, Anisien-Ladinien, Ladinien s.l., Ladinien supérieur que Camien ont été identifiées. Ces associations ont été observées dans des niveaux divers de la partie supérieure du Buntsandstein, ainsi que dans certains niveaux des faciès Muschelkalk et Keuper. Dans certains cas, les âges attribués à ces associations ont été comparés avec les données apportées par les faunes à valeur biochronologique, comme les ammonites et les conodontes.
