Abstract:
Aus SCF‐π‐MO‐Berechnungen sowie 13 C‐NMR‐spektroskopischen Messungen an Benzol‐, Thiophen‐ und Azathiophen‐Derivaten wird übereinstimmend abgeleitet, daß durch Amino‐ bzw. Carbonylsubstitution die π‐Elektronenstruktur der betreffenden Ringsysteme merklich verändert wird. Besonders starke Effekte sind erzielbar, wenn beide Gruppierungen gleichzeitig an einem Ringsystem wirksam werden; in diesem Falle resultieren Verbindungen mit ausgeprägtem Merocyanincharakter. Eine gute numerische Übereinstimmung zwischen theoretischen und experimentellen Größen wird insbesondere bei der Gegenüberstellung von 13 C‐chemischen Verschiebungswerten zu aus MO‐Daten abschätzbaren paramagnetischen Abschirmkonstanten σ para der Ring‐C‐Atome erhalten.
