Abstract:
A globalização dos mercados, a racionalização econômica, a rapidez dos meios de comunicação e a introdução das novas tecnologias modificaram profundamente as empresas. Estes fenômenos questionaram as práticas de gestão tradicionais para estarem à altura do crescimento da concorrência e para atingir níveis de desempenho e de produção ideais. Estas mudanças também tiveram efeitos diretos sobre os trabalhadores, expondo-os a graus de tensão e a situações cada vez mais coercivas do ponto de vista mental. A partir da análise de uma pesquisa em psicodinâmica, realizada com maquinistas que trabalham em uma usina do setor de aeronáutica, e que vivenciaram recentemente grandes transformações organizacionais e tecnológicas, a demanda excessiva de formação feita pelos trabalhadores demonstra imediatamente uma resposta defensiva ou quase obrigatória para vencer o medo e a ansiedade causados pelo trabalho. Este medo e esta ansiedade resultam, entre outros, da organização do trabalho e das exigências extremas de precisão e de qualidade impostas pelas peças fabricadas, destinadas a um motor de veículo de transporte de passageiros. A análise de conteúdo realizada permite evidenciar uma organização do trabalho que coloca os maquinistas diante de um fenômeno de dupla coerção. Eles são confrontados com uma ordem para serem maquinistas excelentes e produtivos em um ambiente extremamente sancionado. A este paradoxo pragmático, adiciona-se o fato de que a organização do trabalho introduz um sistema de travamento que bloqueia todas as maneiras possíveis de resolução do paradoxo. Desta maneira, os maquinistas encontram-se em um impasse. Dentro deste contexto, como acompanhá-los psiquicamente?
