Abstract:
Ein Au ‐Cluster ungewöhnlicher Struktur , das Dikation von 1 , entsteht bei der Polyaurierung von 2,4,4‐Trimethyl‐4,5‐dihydrooxazol. Das erwartete Dihydrooxazol mit der peraurierten 2‐Methylgruppe reagiert jedoch mit Ph 3 PAuCl/CsF im Überschuß unter Au I ‐Anlagerung weiter zu 1. Die hochaurierten C‐Atome sind tetragonal‐pyramidal koordiniert. Da auch der Abstand zwischen den beiden zentralen Au‐Atomen mit 2.811(1) Å kurz ist, sind alle acht Au‐Atome Bestandteile eines Clusters.
