Abstract:
The formation of the second women’s movement in the context of the student riots is mostly regarded as a side aspect of the political male 68 and marginalized in the publications (e.g. Kraushaar 2018), although the feminist movement – »the private is political« – is undoubtedly to be subsequently assessed as one of the most important movements. Based on their own experiences and those of a contemporary witness, filmmaker Helke Sander, the authors ask about individual and transgenerationally conveyed motives for the emergence of the second women’s movement.
