    Abstract: This research aims to know the perspective of Islamic students about English subject. It reveals the questions such as: 1) what is the perspective of Islamic studies students towards English Subject in State Islamic Institute Pontianak?, 2) how does English learning process help Islamic studies students in State Islamic Institute Pontianak enrich their field study knowledge?. The research used mixed method. To answers the first research question, survey was used as research method, and questioner was used as instrument. Meanwhile, to answer the second research question, qualitative approach was chosen as method to gain answer. Interview was used as data collecting technique. The finding found that Islamic education students had positive perception dealing with the importance of learning English. The result also showed that English learning process on most of students’ perspective had not been effective and it did not give much contribution in increasing students’ English ability which deals with their disciplines. In conclusion, positive perception of students about the importance of learning English was not facilitated enough by learning process.     Abstract: 〈 p align="center" 〉 Abstract 〈 /p 〉 〈 p 〉 This study revealed the students’ language learning strategies in learning English. This study conducted on descriptive design which used quantitative approach to analyze the data. Therefore, the data is collected through Strategy Inventory for Language Learning (SILL) Questionnaire. The populations in this research were 116 students, while 90 of them were used as sample. The researcher uses purposive sampling as the technique sampling to select the sample. 〈 /p 〉 〈 p 〉 The findings of the language learning strategies used by the students with high level of achievement and the students with low level of achievement are the students with high level of achievement is better than students with low level of achievement in the use of language learning strategies because they have higher average score in the use of six strategies, namely memory, cognitive, compensation, metacognitive, affective and social strategies. The finding of the use of language learning strategies by female and male students are female students is better in the use of language learning strategies because they get higher average score. 〈 /p 〉 〈 p 〉 The teachers should be equipped with a lot of strategies that they will be able to propose to students so that they can deal with difficult academic task. The teachers should design activities that the students use a variety of strategies and after the completion of the task they should held a discussion session with students about the strategies that they use, whether these strategies proved to be useful or not. In his way, the teachers have opportunity to see the success each students in the use of the strategies, the students will be able to see what their appropriate strategies use. Thus, they will be given the opportunity to make self  evaluation, decide which is better for them or learn an alternative way of doing a particular task. 〈 /p 〉 〈 p 〉 Keyword: Language, Second Language Acquisition, Language Learning Strategies. 〈 /p 〉

    Abstract: ABSTRAKHal ini terlihat dari perilaku siswa yang kurang baik, seperti tidak menyapa saat masuk kelas, mengabaikan nasehat guru dan memilih teman. Melihat keadaan tersebut, pengembangan dan pendidikan karakter bagi siswa SD Negeri 10 Blangkejeren masih sangat diperlukan. Salah satu upaya untuk mengembangkan karakter tersebut dapat melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler tari saman SD Negeri 10 Blangkejeren. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai karakter siswa yang terdapat pada ekstrakurikuler tari saman SD Negeri 10 Blangkejeren. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan jenis deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data wawancara dan wawancara observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data Miles dan Huberman, display data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Nilai karakter digambarkan dalam bentuk nilai religius, etis, dan nilai-nilai sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat nilai karakter religius siswa dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler berupa salam saat memasuki ruangan dan oray sebelum memulai kegiatan. Nilai etika siswa dalam ekstrakurikuler tari saman dapat dilihat ketika mereka mengenakan pakaian yang sopan dan mendengarkan nasihat pelatih dengan baik. Nilai sosial siswa dalam ekstrakurikuler tari saman terlihat ketika mereka bekerja sama dalam memadatkan gerak tari dan bekerja sama memecahkan masalah secara berkelompok. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya nilai karakter siswa dalam ekstrakurikuler tari saman dapat menjadi wahana pengembangan karakter bagi siswa SD Negeri 10 Blangkejeren.     Abstract: Abstract The study is aimed to enhance reading comprehension of the second semester students of PAI students of FTIK IAIN Pontianak by using Authentic Material. This is an action research with the subjects were 34 students of Islamic education students (PAI)FTIK IAIN Pontianak in academic year 2018/2019. This is in two cycles and the result was it is effective in enhancing the Islamic education students’ reading comprehension. These materials were much effective when the students together with the authentic task. The improvements such as more focus and active in participating classroom activities in classroom, also motivated and interesting in reading activities.     Abstract: This study aims to examine the implementation of an Islamic Sharia-Based Curriculum (KBSI) at Islamic Colleges (PTKI) in Aceh. This qualitative study used the purposive sampling method to select the participants, including five college leaders and 50 lecturers from UIN Ar-Raniry, IAIN Lhokseumawe, University of Muhammadiyah Aceh, STIS Al-Hilal Sigli, and STAI Teungku Chik Pante Kulu. The data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research shows that the strategy for developing an Islamic Sharia-based Curriculum (KBSI) at PTKI in Aceh is conducted by an integrated model, separated subject curriculum and correlated curriculum. The policy for developing an Islamic sharia-based curriculum at PTKI in Aceh refers to philosophical, sociological, historical, and juridical foundations in the form of Aceh qanuns. It further finds that the development of an Islamic sharia-based curriculum at PTKI in Aceh is an effort to guide the young Acehnese generations who are sharia-compliant and tolerant using special autonomy opportunities. Meanwhile, the difficulties in developing this curriculum are due to Aceh's internal and external PTKI factors. The obstacles are due to internal factors where PTKI leaders do not respond to the opportunities for KBSI reconstruction. On the other hand, obstacles also deal with external factors where collaboration between PTKI and the Aceh government in the context of KBSI reconstruction is less optimal.

    Abstract: Bodily-kinesthetic intelligence model refers to a person's potential to body fact system via hand and physique movement, control, and expression. This model is still rarely known in Indonesian primary school. The aim of this research was to determine the current bodily-kinesthetic intelligence model in physical education teaching for primary schoolers. Descriptive research was conducted with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The sample of this study was physical education teachers and primary school students. Literature review of the documents, questionnaire, observation, video recordings, photography and diary were used to explore the level of the student mind and fitness body. The result showed that the current Bodily-kinesthetic intelligence model in Physical Education Teaching did not allow the appearance of increasing the maximum of their physical and mental abilities. In conclusion, this study gives the assessment model of student human kinetic in order to fix the current issue of competence evaluation. Physical education teachers need to improve their teaching methods to allow students to reach physical and mental performance.

    Abstract: Cancer is one of the causes of death in Indonesia and even the world. Nuclear medicine techniques with radiopharmaceuticals and SPECT are one of the ways to treat cancer, but their use in Indonesia is not yet popular. Radiopharmaceuticals marked with radionuclide emitting beta (β) radiation are proven to be used for cancer therapy, one that has been developed in PTRR-BATAN is 90Y-EDTMP. Yttrium-90 is used in nuclear medicine by utilizing β radiation (E max 2.28 MeV). The β energy which is produced from the decay process of 90Y radionuclides to 90Zr can kill cancer cells. This study aimed to provide information about the substances biological effects so that preventive measures can be taken to protect humans. This study conducted evaluation of the 90Y-marked radiopharmaceutical (90Y produced from a 90Sr / 90Y generator which is 90Y-EDTMP) encompasses clearance test, pyrogen test, and dose safety test in experimental animals. The clearance test utilized mice, the pyrogen test utilized rabbits, and the dose safety test utilized mice. The results of the clearance test showed that 90Y-EDTMP compound which was excreted in 192 hour was 49.70% through urine and 14.59% through feces. The total excretion of 90Y-EDTMP within 192 hours was 64.57%. Based on the results of clearance tests with calculations, 90Y of 90Sr / 90Y generators in 90Y-EDTMP dosage form had 84.2 hours of half-life, 36.5 hours of an effective half-life and 52.7 hours of a residence time. Pyrogen test results showed pyrogen-free. The 90Y-EDTMP dose safety test showed that the dose is safe and not deadly. The development of 90Y-EDTMP is expected to be improved to produce radiopharmaceuticals for cancer therapy in order to make a real contribution in public health services.
