Abstract:
N ‐[2,4,4,6,6‐Pentafluoro‐1,3,5,2,4,6‐triazaphosphor(V)inyl‐(2)]sulphurimides („ N ‐(Pentafluorcyclotriphosphazo)sulphurimides”︁) P 3 N 3 NH 2 ( 1 ) reacts with sulfurhalogen Lewis acids such as SF 4 and OSCl 2 to give P 3 N 3 F 5 NSF 2 ( 2 ) and P 3 N 3 F 5 NSO ( 3 ). 3 reacts with Pcl 5 producing P 3 N 3 NSCl 2 ( 4 ) In the presence of catalytic amounts of pyridine and at 100°, SO 2 is eliminated from 3 and P 3 N 3 F 5 NSN‐ P 3 N 3 F 5 ( 5 ) is formed. The i.r., n. m. r. and mass spectra are reported.
