Abstract:
This invited article was completed in April, just one week before the planned, high profile, disruptive activities of Extinction Rebellion ( www.xrebellion.org ), a new social movement committed to driving social and political change in light of the current environmental and climate crisis. We aim to raise awareness of the movement and its implications for us as clinical psychologists. ‘It is worse, much worse, than you think.’ (Wallace-Wells, 2019) ‘Extinction Rebellion-4’ by Julia Hawkins ( www.flickr.com/photos/8716204@N06 ).
