Abstract: Three new species of Dicephalospora are introduced based on morphological characters and DNA sequence analyses (maximum parsimony and neighbor-joining methods), viz. D.albolutea , D.shennongjiana , and D.yunnanica . All of them lack mucilaginous caps at ascospore poles. Dicephalosporaalbolutea is distinguished by cream to yellowish white apothecia and slightly curved ascospores. Dicephalosporashennongjiana is characterized by yellow apothecia, elliptical-fusoid ascospores 19−22 × 7−8.8 μm, and J+ asci 130−150 × 14−16.5 μm. Dicephalosporayunnanica is distinguished by orange apothecia and fusoid ascospores 16.5−25.3 × 3.3−3.5 μm. Descriptions and illustrations of the new species as well as a key to the known species in the genus are provided.

Abstract: To investigate fungi from the Qilian Mountains in Gansu Province, ascomycetous specimens were collected and hypocrealean fungi were examined. Eighteen species belonging to six genera in the families Hypocreaceae and Nectriaceae were identified, including 11 species of Hypomyces and Trichoderma in Hypocreaceae and seven species of Nectria , Stylonectria , Thelonectria , and Thyronectria in Nectriaceae. Among them, Stylonectria qilianshanensis and Trichoderma gansuanum are new to science. DNA sequence analyses of combined ACL1, ITS, RPB2, and TEF1 regions confirmed their taxonomic placements. Morphological distinctions between the new species and their close relatives are discussed. Hypomyces tremellicola is reported for the first time in China.

Abstract: Postoperative pain has adverse effects on children with urological problems, including sleep disturbances, incision dehiscence, bleeding and delayed recovery. Accurate parental assessment of children's behaviours and responses could help to manage postoperative pain. We aimed to implement evidence‐based practice for parental involvement in a urology ward, to increase parents' participation in children's postoperative pain management. Design The project was conducted in a paediatric urology ward using the framework and methods of the Fudan University Evidence‐Based Nursing Center's Evidence‐based Continuous Quality Improvement Model. Methods Fifteen audit criteria were used to represent best practice recommendations for parental involvement in postoperative pain management. A pre‐implementation audit was conducted with 211 randomly sampled children and parents. Obstacles, promoting factors and key strategies were analysed, and evidence‐based interventions implemented to improve compliance. A follow‐up audit using the same audit criteria was conducted with 202 children and parents to assess the effect of targeted strategies on compliance with best practice. The SQUIRE guidelines were followed. Results At the baseline audit, compliance with the evidence‐based criteria was 0%–71.5%; only five audit criteria achieved a compliance rate 〉 60%. After best practice implementation, the follow‐up audit showed compliance improvements for all criteria; compliance for three criteria improved to 100%. Patient or Public Contribution This best practice implementation project improved parents' participation in children's postoperative pain management. The findings demonstrate how audits can promote best practice in postoperative pain management for children. Additional studies will be conducted to address children's postoperative life quality based on best practice.

Abstract: Objective. To enhance and analyze the clinical effectiveness of implementing quality nursing interventions in the clinical care of critically ill patients in respiratory medicine. Methods. Clinical data of respiratory medicine patients treated in our hospital over the years were collected and 96 patients who met the requirements of the purpose of this study and the sample inclusion criteria were selected as the study subjects from the patients treated between April 2019 and January 2020. According to the care methods received by the patients in our hospital, 48 of them who implemented conventional care were used as the control group, and another 48 patients who were given quality care interventions were used as the observation group. The data were statistically recorded and comparatively analyzed for the indicators such as nursing oxygen index, heart rate, and clinical treatment efficiency of patients in both groups. Results. Compared with the control group, patients in the observation group who received quality nursing intervention had more significant improvement in blood oxygen index and heart rate after nursing care; the clinical treatment efficiency of patients in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (95.83% vs. 81.25%). The data comparison between the groups showed a significant difference, P 〈 0.05, which was statistically significant. Conclusion. Adding quality nursing interventions to the implementation of conventional care for patients with respiratory diseases can better improve patients’ clinical symptoms, accelerate their clinical recovery, improve and enhance prognosis, and further improve clinical outcomes.
