Abstract:
A multicolor organic electroluminescent (EL) device utilizing poly(9, 9-dihexylfluorene) (PDHF) and N, N'-bis(2, 5-di-tert-butylphenyl)-3, 4, 9, 10-perylenedicarboximide (BPPC) has been successfully realized. The multicolor EL device emits either blue green or red light depending on the polarity of applied voltage. Both emissions have comparable intensity at the same injection current. By driving with AC field both blue green and red emission can be observed.
