Abstract:
Os funcionários de indústrias durante suas atividades laborais realizam vários exercícios repetitivos, provocando o surgimento de atestados médicos, queda de produção ou mesmo aposentadoria por invalidez, repercussões passíveis de prevenção pela atuação ï¬ sioterapêutica. Assim, este estudo buscou analisar se o desenvolvimento de doenças osteomusculares relacionadas ao trabalho pode ser reduzido através da intervenção ï¬ sioterapêutica. Métodos: Para alcançar esse objetivo, após um levantamento bibliográï¬ co, realizou-se um estudo de caso com 28 funcionários de uma indústria têxtil por meio de uma abordagem Quanti/qualitativa. Esses trabalhadores foram submetidos, primeiramente, a uma avaliação ocupacional e, em seguida, a períodos de ginástica laboral, vivências e palestras. Resultados: Na reavaliação, quatro meses após, observouse diminuição do número de funcionários com: cistos sinoviais em região posterior de punho, tendinite do supraespinhoso, síndrome de De Quervain e do túnel do carpo, além da queda em 92% da incidência de atestados médicos relacionados com doenças do trabalho. Conclusões: Assim, percebe-se a importância da intervenção ï¬ sioterapêutica em ambientes ocupacionais, aï¬ m de que, possibilite uma melhor qualidade de trabalho e diminuição do número de faltas, assim como o aumento da produtividade para as indústrias. Para uma maior percepção dessa importância, seria interessante a realização desse serviço em outros ambientes de trabalho e a conseqüente análise dos resultados alcançados.
