Abstract:
Die zunehmende Verbreitung Industrieller Betreibermodelle (IBM) bietet für die Investitionsgüterindustrie erhebliche Chancen zur Wettbewerbsdifferenzierung oder zur Markterschließung. Gleichzeitig müssen sich potenzielle Anbieter dieser Geschäftsmodelle, vor allem im Rahmen der unternehmensplanerischen Auseinandersetzung mit IBM, welche vor dem Eintritt in konkrete Vorhaben nötig ist, erheblichen Herausforderungen stellen. Diese resultieren insbesondere aus der Unübersichtlichkeit, der Heterogenität und dem hohen Neuigkeitswert der unter dem Begriff IBM zusammengefassten Erscheinungen. Um dieses breite Spektrum möglicher Geschäftsmodelle für potenzielle Projektträger unternehmensplanerisch handhabbar zu machen und eine Grundlage für gehaltvolle typenspezifische Aussagen, beispielsweise hinsichtlich der Vor- und Nachteile einer bestimmten Gruppe von IBM-Vorhaben, zu schaffen, wird im Rahmen dieses Artikels eine zweckorientierte Ordnung des durch die vielfältigen Erscheinungsformen industrieller Betreibermodelle aufgespannten Untersuchungsraums in Form einer Typologie vorgestellt.
