Ziel der Studie: In der vorliegenden Studie wurde der protektive Effekt der In-situ-Pellikel gegenüber Salzsäure unterschiedlicher pH-Werte untersucht. Material und Methoden: Die Pellikelbildung erfolgte auf bovinen Schmelzproben bei 6 Probanden in situ für 3, 30 bzw. 120 min bukkal und palatinal. Die Schmelzproben wurden in vitro mit Salzsäure der pH-Werte 2,0, 2,3 bzw. 2,6 inkubiert. Pellikelfreie Schmelzproben dienten als Referenzproben. Die Kalzium-Freisetzung aus Schmelz unter dem Einfluss von Salzsäure wurde mit einem photometrischen Verfahren (Arsenazo-III-Methode) ermittelt. Die Messungen erfolgten fortlaufend zu den Zeitpunkten t = 15 s, 30 s, 45 s, 60 s, 120 s, 180 s, 240 s und 300 s. Ergebnisse: Die Kalzium-Freisetzung erfolgte bei pellikelfreien und pellikelbedeckten Schmelzproben zeitabhängig in direkter Korrelation zum pH-Wert. Die Kalzium-Freisetzung aus bukkal getragenen Schmelzproben unterschied sich nicht oder nur geringfügig von palatinal getragenen Proben ...
