"Die Gruppe Cena 11 widmet sich seit Jahren den Fragen nach der körperlichen Existenz und hat dafür das Konzept des "Voodoo Body" entwickelt, in dem die Bewegungen der Performer*innen einem Einfluss unterliegen, der sich ihrem Willen entzieht. Vergleichbar der musikalischen Form der Fuge münden Tanz und Bewegung in ein Ritual, in dem der Einzelne stets ein Anderer sein muss, um sich selbst zu behaupten. Mit Atemmasken und Kriegsbemalung werfen sich sieben Tänzer*innen wie moderne Krieger*innen in bedingungsloser Hingabe in den Kampf und werden Teil eines Rituals, das nicht weniger zu sein scheint als die Erschaffung der Welt. In dieser Kreation widmet sich Cena 11 Fragen und Materialien, die schon in vorangegangenen Arbeiten auftauchten: Was heißt Opposition und was Gemeinschaft?
