Portuguese Abstract: A atual dinâmica e competitividade de mercado obriga a que o marketing adapte continuamente as suas estratégias aos desafios de mudança constante, por forma a cumprir o seu propósito de resposta às exigências dos consumidores. Os gestores de marketing procuram assim um equilíbrio dinâmico, trabalhando as variáveis do marketing-mix em função dos desafios de inovação impostos pelo mercado e exigidos pelos consumidores.Este artigo científico propõe-se como um contributo adicional para reflexão sobre as variáveis do marketing-mix, explorando a possibilidade dos tradicionais P´s, por norma associados ao marketing de serviços – Processos, Evidências Físicas e Pessoas, se estenderem ao sector industrial, bem como a introdução de um oitavo P, as Parcerias, no puzzle de 8P´s contemporâneo, e finalmente a verificação da sua aplicabilidade no tecido empresarial.Neste contexto será analisada a evolução da composição do marketing-mix ao longo do tempo e os mais recentes contributos para a discussão dos tópicos em análise através de estudos, artigos e casos. A metodologia de pesquisa plasmada neste artigo inclui a realização de 40 entrevistas a decisores de marketing e gestores de empresas através do método de amostragem não causal por quotas ou estratificada, com recolha online. A pesquisa permitiu reconhecer a pertinência do tema, confirmando a crescente importância dos serviços no sector industrial e as parcerias como instrumento estratégico para empresas e marcas. English Abstract: The current dynamic and competitiveness of the market means that marketing must continually adapt its strategies to challenges of constant change, in order to fulfill its obligations to the consumer. Marketing managers therefore seek a dynamic balance, working with the variables of the marketing mix, in accordance with the innovation challenges set by the market and demanded by the consumer.This Scientific article aims to contribute to the reflection on the variables of the marketing mix, exploring the possibilities of the traditional P's, normally associated with marketing services - Processes, Physical Evidence and People, extended to the industrial sector, as well as the introduction of an eighth P, Partnerships, into the puzzle of the 8 contemporary P's, and finally the verification of its applicability in the business sector.In this context, an analysis will be made of the development of the composition of the marketing mix over time and the most recent contributions to the discussion of the topics under analysis via studies, articles and cases. The research methodology present in this article includes 40 interviews with marketing decision makers and company managers using a non-causal sampling method by quotas and stratification, collected online. The research allowed the recognition of the pertinence of the theme, confirming the increasing importance of the marketing services in the industrial sector and the partnerships as a strategic instrument for companies and brands
