Abstract: Kage et al. (2022) haben eine umfängliche und beachtliche Auswertung und Analyse von mehrortigen und mehrjährigen Stickstoffsteigerungsversuchen sowohl zu Winterraps als auch zu Winterweizen vorgelegt mit dem Ziel, so die ‚DüV zu evaluieren‘ und ‚optimale N Düngungsintensitäten‘ für die genannten Kulturarten herzuleiten. Die Autoren kommen zu dem Schluss, dass die Vorgaben der DüV die Stickstoffbedarfswerte betreffend bei beiden untersuchten Kulturen zu wirtschaftlichen Einbußen von 18-20% im Vergleich zur Düngung in Höhe des ökonomischen Optimums führen und eine weitere Absenkung des Düngeniveaus um 20%, wie in den sogenannten ‚roten Gebieten‘ vorgegeben, nicht geboten sei, da andere Maßnahmen zur Vermeidung von Nährstoffausträgen zur Verfügung stünden.
