Diese deutsch-serbische Grammatik wurde erarbeitet auf der Grundlage der im Institut für deutsche Sprache, Mannheim, entwickelten Dependenz-Verb-Grammatik, der auch die Deutsch-serbokroatische kontrastive Grammatik (DSKKG) von 1986 verpflichtet ist. Beim vorliegenden Buch handelt es sich aber keineswegs um eine Neuauflage der DSKKG. Sprachtheorie und kontrastive Grammatik haben sich seither weiter entwickelt. Dass das vorliegende Buch nicht mehr den alten Titel trägt, hängt mit der politischen Entwicklung der letzten zwanzig Jahre zusammen, an deren Ende jeder Nachfolgestaat Jugoslawiens eine eigene Sprache für sich reklamierte. Von dieser neuen deutsch-serbischen kontrastiven Grammatik wird hier der erste Teil vorgelegt. Zwei bis drei weitere Teile werden folgen.
