"Du bist bei Parfümören angekommen", so wurde Fritz Scherk (1918 - 1995) bei seiner Geburt von der Familie enthusiastisch begrüßt. Er wuchs zwischen Parfüm und Puderdosen auf, sein Vater Ludwig führte in Berlin die Kosmetikfirma Scherk zur Blüte. Zur Familie gehörten auch die Albersheims, seit 1892 Besitzer einer Parfümerie in Frankfurt. Beide Unternehmen wurden nach "Arisierung", Kriegszeit, Restitution und Wiederaufbau bis in die 1960er Jahre fortgeführt. Die Kabinettausstellung nimmt die Besucher mit auf eine Zeitreise durch die Geschichte der Familien Scherk und Albersheim und ihrer Firmen. Zu sehen sind neben Objekten zur Familiengeschichte auch zahlreiche Firmenprodukte. Zur Eröffnung der Kabinettausstellung am 2. September laden wir Sie herzlich ein. Es sprechen: Leonore Maier, Kuratorin des Jüdischen Museums Berlin Dr. Sabine Bohle-Heintzenberg, Leihgeberin und Sammlerin Irene Scherk, Tochter des Firmeninhabers Fritz Scherk und Stifterin
