Jahrhundert. Die Schriftwerke sind in der Publikation sorgfältig reproduziert; alle werden einzeln, in ihrer Geschichte und Bedeutung detailliert vorgestellt. So entsteht ein faszinierendes Panorama jüdischer Schriftkultur und jüdischen Lebens aus acht Jahrhunderten. Der Schweizer Sammler René Braginsky hat "die wohl bemerkenswerteste Privatsammlung illustrierter hebräischer Manuskripte der Welt" (New York Times) zusammengetragen und macht seine wichtigsten Exponate nun der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich. Nach Stationen in Amsterdam, New York und Jerusalem ist die Ausstellung der Braginsky Collection vom 25. November 2011 bis zum 11. März 2012 im Landesmuseum Zürich zu sehen. Aus diesem Anlass erscheint der Katalog zu dieser einzigartigen Sammlung.
