Published on the occasion of the homonymous exhibition, this book comprises color reproductions of the images of the pieces displayed, accompanied by a critical study on the use of photography in a context of war and post-war period, as it was the case of the conflict between Peru and Chile between 1879 and 1883. Photography is also the source of the memory of a war that left many of its actors into oblivion. Professor Renzo Babilonia who, besides being the curator of the exhibition, is the author of the main text of the book
