Ein neuer "LEGO Friends"-Titel in der Reihe Superleser (vgl. "LEGO Friends - ein Sommer voller Abenteuer", ID-A 30/15). Diesmal stellen die Freundinnen der LEGO-Stadt "Heartlake-City" ihre Tiere vor: Hund Charlie, Kaninchen Jazz, Lamm Cotton usw. Der kurze, einfache Text erzählt klischeehaft vom Leben mit den Haustieren. Es dominieren die klein- und großformatigen Fotografien der LEGO-Figuren in abgesofteter Umgebung. Außerdem gibt es unbrauchbare Tipps zur Haustierhaltung, einen Brief über die Geburt des Ponys Snow und Übersichtsseiten wie "Beim Tierarzt", "Heartlake Haustier-Salon" sowie thematisch überraschend "Roboter Robo", zu dem immerhin erklärt wird: "Er heißt Robo. Er ist kein richtiges Haustier." Die inhaltliche Idee scheint sich im Vorstellen der LEGO-Produkte zu erschöpfen. Für die Zielgruppe der Lesestarter problematisch sind die eingestreuten englischen Namen und Begriffe, die nicht übersetzt werden. Im Anhang das "LEGO Friends Quiz" sowie Begriffe, deren Auswahl sich mir nicht erschlossen hat. Ein LEGO-Werbekatalog, Bibliotheken sollten trotz der Beliebtheit von "LEGO Friends" verzichten.
