Paula Banholzers Erinnerungen an ihre Zeit mit Bert Brecht, der sie Bi nannte. Sie war seine große Liebe, was von Helene Wiegel bestätigt wird. Seit 1916, als sie 15 war und er ein 18-jähriger Gymnasiast, stellt er ihr nach. Durch seine Beharrlichkeit gerät sie nach anfänglichem Widerstand mehr und mehr unter seinen Einfluss. 1919 bringt sie seinen Sohn Frank zur Welt, der bei Pflegeeltern aufwächst, weil ihr Vater eine Heirat untersagt. Glaubwürdig und detailliert erzählt sie von Brechts Eifersucht, die im Gegensatz steht zu seiner eigenen Untreue. 1922 erfährt sie, dass er auch die Schauspielerin Marianne Zoff geschwängert hat, die er später heiratet, obwohl er zugleich mit Bi verlobt ist. In einem angehängten Gespräch ergänzt sie ihre Ausführungen. In einem 2. Gespräch mit Zoff erfährt man weitere Einzelheiten über Brechts Privatleben. Nach Bi trennt auch sie sich bald wegen seiner Affären von ihm und heiratet den Schauspieler Theo Lingen. Amüsant zu lesen. Brechts fataler Umgang mit Frauen wird anschaulich dokumentiert.
