W. Bils ist Autor mehrerer hier besprochener Abiturhilfen. Er legt nun eine Aufgabensammlung vor, deren Titel und Aufmachung schon leichte Zugänglichkeit suggerieren soll. Die 4-bändige Reihe bietet ein neues Konzept: Wissen soll angewandt, vernetzt und in neue Zusammenhänge übertragen und Kompetenzen wie das Lesen von Diagrammen etc. gefördert werden. Berücksichtigt wurden Kernthemen des Biologieunterrichts an weiterführenden Schulen, Zielgruppen sind Schüler der 5. bis 12. bzw. 13. Klasse, Studierende und Lehrer/-innen. Piktogramme geben den Schwierigkeitsgrad der Aufgaben, das Anforderungsniveau und die Überlappung mit anderen Fächern an. Fragen können über eine Übersicht gezielt ausgewählt werden, ein sehr ausführliches Literaturverzeichnis und ein Stichwortregister runden das Werk ab. Dieser Band behandelt in 315 Aufgaben die Themen Botanik und Zoologie. Der Schwierigkeitsgrad ist überwiegend leicht und mittel, lediglich im Bereich Photosynthese und Wasserhaushalt finden sich mehr Fragen für die Oberstufe. Deshalb vorrangig zum Wiederholen des Stoffes für die Klassen 5 bis 10 empfohlen. (1 S)
