Wigald Boning ist medial ein Tausendsassa: Musiker, Entertainer, Komiker, Autor. Der Stoff für seine Bücher ergibt sich meist aus einer fixen Idee, der er sich dann im Selbstversuch unterzieht. 200 Nächte schlief er im Zelt ("Im Zelt", ID-A 42/16) und 52 Wochen lange absolvierte er einen Marathon ("Lauf, Wigald, lauf!", ID-A 27/22). Nun frönt er seiner Wanderlust, bzw. er trägt geistreich reflektierte Erfahrungen vor, die ihn seit seiner Kindheit begleiten. Von Nacht- und Nacktwanderungen bis hin zum Expressgehen ist alles dabei. Auch eine boning-typische Challenge findet man. Er schildert die Besteigung der "16 Summits", also den jeweils höchsten Erhebungen in allen Bundesländern. Letzteres wurde bereits von anderen Akteuren (u.a. H. Zippert: "Zippert steigt auf", ID-B 24/19) mit viel Spaß an der Sache vollzogen. - Auch die Wandererfahrungen von der Ursuppe bis hin zum "zivilisationsgeschädigten Büromenschen" sind nicht wirklich neu. Allerdings dürfte die mediale Reputation des Bestseller-Autors für großen Zuspruch sorgen.
