Catalogue of the exhibition organized in 2020 by the Musée national de la Résistance at the Topographie des Terrors in Berlin. The exhibition tells the story of the fate of the Jewish population of Luxembourg in the years before, during and after the Second World War.00When the exhibition ?Between Shade and Darkness? was on display at the Musée national de la Résistance in Esch/Alzette in 2013, the fate of the Jewish community in Luxembourg during the Second World War was not suffciently known. The touring exhibition, produced in collaboration with MemoShoah Luxembourg, was in subsequent years displayed in dozens of places in Luxembourg and the surrounding Greater Region and contributed to this part of our country?s history being gradually anchored in our collective memory.0The revised international exhibition and the accompanying catalogue deal with the fate of the Jews of Luxembourg. It fits into the global history of the Holocaust, which aimed to exterminate the Jews of Europe, but also illustrates some national particularities. The structure of the newly designed exhibition in particular allows an international audience to understand these specific correlations and thus contributes to a common reappraisal of history00Exhibition: Musée national de la Résistance, Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg, 2020.
