Neuausgabe des bewährten Reiseführers für das Elsass (zuletzt ID-A 15/17) im neuen Layout der Reihe. Die Reihe wurde komplett überarbeitet: optisch bereits am neuen großformatigen Titelbild und dem matten Papier zu erkennen. Das Seitenlayout wurde aufgelockert und sowohl Infoboxen als auch die Adressen sind farblich abgesetzt. Die zahlreichen Touren, Lieblingsorte und "Zugaben" sind im Inhaltsverzeichnis gekennzeichnet. Auch die inhaltliche Aufteilung wurde verändert: Am Anfang gibt es nur noch eine kurze Einführung bevor die einzelnen Orte in regionaler Ordnung vorgestellt werden. Die reisepraktischen Informationen kommen danach, ganz am Ende befindet sich "Das Magazin" mit Essays rund um die Region. Im Vergleich zur Vorauflage wurden alle Texte überarbeitet, die geschichtlichen Informationen sind jedoch weggefallen. Ein gelungener Relaunch der Reihe bei moderater Preiserhöhung. Vorauflage, wenn möglich, ersetzen. Gerne empfohlen neben J.-T. Titz (Reise Know-how; ID-A 29/15, Neuauflage zur Besprechung vorgesehen), A. Schwab (Michael Müller; ID-A 7/18) und D. Stahn (Baedeker; ID-A 5/18).
