Entstanden ist auf diese Weise ein oral-history-Meisterwerk - ein schier unerschöpfliches authentisches Quellenwerk. Die verschwenderische Ausstattung mit unbekanntem und informativem Bildmaterial macht diesen Band nicht nur zur wichtigsten, sondern auch zur schönsten Filmpublikation der letzten Jahre, für deren deutsche Ausgabe dem Verlag, den Herausgebern und dem Deutschen Filmmuseum zu danken ist.
