Am 8. März 1963 hatte Anne-Rose Neumann ihren ersten TV-Auftritt als Nachrichtensprecherin in der "Aktuellen Kamera" des Deutschen Fernsehfunks. Damit war sie nicht nur die erste Fernsehnachrichtensprecherin Deutschlands, sondern auch ganz Europas. Als die Menschen in der DDR am Abend des 8. März 1963 den Fernseher einschalteten, erlebten sie eine Überraschung. Es war Frauentag und im Deutschen Fernsehfunk (DFF) verlas eine unbekannte junge Frau die Nachrichten - sozusagen als besonderer Glückwunsch. Nur Japan hatte damals schon eine Nachrichtensprecherin vorzuweisen. In Zeiten des Kalten Krieges und im permanenten Wettrennen mit dem "Klassenfeind" war die erste Frau in einer deutschen Hauptnachrichtensendung ein Paukenschlag. Und die Frau war nicht nur gebildet, sondern auch elegant und attraktiv. Zwar gab es beim DFF schon zuvor eine weibliche Sprecherin - doch die sprach ausschließlich aus dem Off. Anne-Rose Neumanns ersten Fernsehauftritt hatte man ganz im Verborgenen vorbereitet. Ihr Erscheinen war nicht angekündigt worden, weder durch eine Zeitungsnotiz, noch durch einen Programmhinweis. Ein Mann stand bis zum Schluss auf dem Ablaufplan...Der 50. Jahrestag dieses fernsehgeschichtlichen Ereignisses ist für "Lebensläufe" Anlass, die heute 77-jährige Fernsehfrau zu porträtieren. Und die Fernsehgeschichte weiterzuschreiben: Zum ersten Mal bringen wir Anne-Rose Neumann und TV-Kollegin Wibke Bruhns zusammen, die trotz all ihrer Dementis bis heute als erste deutsche Nachrichtensprecherin gilt. Bruhns hatte erstmals am 12. Mai 1971 im ZDF die "heute"-Nachrichten gesprochen. [www.mdr.de]
