"Prag 1952. Nach der Rückkehr von einem Fest hegen ein hoher Beamter und seine Frau den Verdacht, ihr Haus sei durchsucht worden und stehe unter Beobachtung. Die aufkommende Panik läßt auch die zwischen dem Ehepaar schwelenden Gegensätze losbrechen.
