Die Regierung hat festgestellt, dass aus dem Labor seiner Mutter ein Zentiliter Beschleunigungs-Wachstums-Hormon verschwunden ist, exakt die Menge, die Fisher zum Klonen von Fisher Zwo in "Mein total genialer Doppelgänger" (ID-B 24/12) benötigte. Und nun läuft Fisher Zwo quicklebendig durch Los Angeles, ganz versessen darauf, ein Superstar zu werden! Glücklicherweise kann sich Fisher bei einer Klassenexkursion nach Los Angeles auf die Suche nach seinem Doppelgänger begeben. Dort eskaliert die Geschichte dann hoch dramatisch in der Todesarena des Dr. X, wo Fisher, der eigentlich nur gesehen werden möchte, im Kampf gegen Robotermonster, tödliche Metallpflanzen, einem mechanischen Tyrannosaurus und einem Androiden über sich hinauswächst. Gerade diese Verkettung haarsträubender Gefahren werden Jungs in der mit comicartigen Illustrationen und persönlichen Aufzeichnungen gespickten Geschichte lieben. Da auch die Charaktere, im Gegensatz zum 1. Band, an Tiefgang gewinnen, zur Fortsetzung empfohlen.
