Nach einer Gesamtaufnahme von Prokofjews Klavierkonzerten (vgl. zuletzt Konzerte 1, 3 und 4: IN-G 10/19, StO Klassische Musik klein plus, ekz-Nr. 782.915.8), für die er von der Kritik viel Lob einstecken durfte, wendet sich der Pianist Vadym Kholodenko nun bedeutenden Klavierwerken des Komponisten zu. In die Ausdruckswelt der Klaviersonate Nr. 6 A-Dur op. 82 aus dem Jahr 1939/40, eine der drei sogenannten "Kriegssonaten", hat deren Entstehungszeit Eingang gefunden mit grellen Kontrasten und gleichzeitig national gefärbten lyrischen Passagen, anmutigen Rhythmen und brutalen Marschanklängen. Die Visions fugitives, entstanden 1915-1917, sind Werke von geradezu aphoristischer Kürze. In diesen lyrischen Klavierminiaturen erkundet er harmonisches Neuland. Kholodenko ergänzt sein Programm durch die "Vier Stücke op. 32" und die Zwei Stücke op. 45 "Dinge an sich". Die Zusammenstellung offenbart viele Facetten des Melodikers Prokofjew, der in Kholodenkos Interpretation seinen Meister gefunden hat. pr
