Ein gescheiterter Schriftsteller, der vor 20 Jahren seine Familie in Israel verließ, um sich in New York eine Karriere aufzubauen, hält sich als Kneipen-Poet über Wasser. Er wird von seiner Vergangenheit eingeholt, als ihn sein Sohn, ein unehrenhaft entlassener Scharfschütze der israelischen Armee, nach dem Tod der Mutter auf- und heimsucht. Ein ausgesprochen spröde entwickeltes Kammerspiel auf der Grundlage eines Vater-Sohn-Konflikts, das die Kommunikationsschwierigkeiten zwischen den Generationen thematisiert, dessen eigentliches Thema aber die Suche nach Heimat bzw. die Heimatlosigkeit ist.
