Long description: Dieser Band sondiert das Begriffspaar Flucht und Heimat aus der Perspektive der Pädagogischen Anthropologie. In Zeiten sehr erhitzter politischer und gesellschaftlicher Debatten erinnert er daran, dass sowohl Flucht als auch Heimat von jeher zu den anthropologischen Konstanten – von Ruhe, Geborgenheit und Sesshaftigkeit auf der einen und von Bewegung, Offenheit und Nomadentum auf der anderen Seite – gezählt werden können. Beide Begriffe lassen sich in vielfältiger Weise, etwa politisch, sozial, kulturell und psychologisch, verstehen und verwenden. Beide Begriffe sind ambivalent: Heimat wird nicht nur ersehnt und Flucht nicht nur beklagt. Und dennoch erscheinen sie im Rahmen menschlicher Entfaltungs- und Bildungsprozesse notwendig zusammenzugehören.

Biographical note: Birgit Althans, Dr. phil., Professorin für Empirische Grundschulpädagogik mit dem Schwerpunkt Genderforschung an der Leuphana Universität Lüneburg. Arbeitsschwerpunkte: Historische Geschlechterforschung, Jugendforschung, empirische Sozialforschung, Pädagogische Anthropologie. Nika Daryan, Dr. phil., ist Postdoc am Institut für Bildungswissenschaft an der Leuphana Universität Lüneburg. Sie ist Mitglied des Interdisziplinären Zentrums für Historische Anthropologie an der Freien Universität Berlin und Mitglied der Kommission Pädagogische Anthropologie sowie der Kommission Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Erziehungswissenschaft. Gabriele Sorgo, Dr. phil., ist Privatdozentin für Kulturgeschichte am Institut für Geschichte der Universität Wien, Forschung und Lehre am Institut für Bildungswissenschaften der Pädagogischen Hochschule Salzburg. Sie ist Vorstandsmitglied der Kommission Pädagogische Anthropologie der DGFE. Jörg Zirfas, Dr. phil., ist Professor für Erziehungswissenschaft mit Schwerpunkt Pädagogische Anthropologie an der Universität zu Köln.
