Outsourcing in Verbindung mit einem Personaltransfer stellt für betroffene Beschäftigte ein einschneidendes Ereignis dar, weil sich durch den unfreiwilligen Arbeitgeberwechsel ihr Arbeitsalltag gravierend verändert. In dieser Situation erleben Arbeitnehmer im Schnelldurchlauf, was viele Beschäftigte derzeit in einem schleichenden Prozess erfahren: das „Normalarbeitsverhältnis“ mit seinen Erwartungen der Arbeitnehmer an die Fürsorge ihrer Arbeitgeber verliert seine normative Funktion. Diese Veränderung fordert jedoch nicht nur die Bewältigungskompetenz der betroffenen Beschäftigten heraus, sie stellt zudem ein für Arbeitgeber bisher profitables Arrangement in Frage, das ihnen die Loyalität und das Engagement der Beschäftigten im Tausch gegen vermeintliche Arbeitsplatzsicherheit und Zugehörigkeit zum Unternehmen sicherte.
