Content:
Emerson, Lake & Palmer war eine der sogenannten Supergroups. Zu Beginn der 1970er-Jahre war die Band eine treibende Kraft des Progressiv- und Art-Rock. Ca. 25 Jahre später, nach Trennung und Reunion, fand der 1. und einzige Auftritt in Montreux statt, danach war endgültig Schluss. Noch mehr und deutlicher als in den 70ern muss, in Ermangelung des großen Orchesters, der Synthesizer die opulenten Soundgebilde erstellen. Das gereifte Trio spielt natürlich die bekannten Hits wie "Lucky man", "Take a pebble", "Tiger in the spotlight" oder "Fanfare for the common man".
