Unterteilt in die Kategorien "Geschichte, Orte, Konflikte, Menschen, Friedensaktivisten" bietet das Heft wieder exzellente Reportagen, Essays und Berichte, mehrheitlich verfasst von israelischen und palästinensischen Journalisten oder Schriftstellern. Im Fokus stehen der letzte Gaza-Krieg, der Alltag in einem geteilten, immer mehr in Stücke zerrissenen Land, die Siedlungspolitik sowie die Aktivitäten der Menschen, die sich gegen die zerstörerische Politik beider Seiten zur Wehr setzen. Zahlreiche Fotos, sehr gute Karten, kein Register. Ein sehr lesenswertes Sonderheft für viele politisch interessierte Leser; es ergänzt hervorragend "Land ohne Hoffnung?" von A. S. Hajjaj (ID-B 1/17) und "Im Land der Verzweiflung" von Nir Baram (ID-A 14/16).
