Zum 150jährigen Geburtstag des Malers Hans Peter Feddersen erscheint eine neue Werkmonographie, begleitend zu drei Ausstellungen im Lande: der Flensburger Museumsberg zeigt Feddersens Frühwerk, das Husumer Nissenhaus Ölstudien und seine nordfriesischen Landschaftsbilder, entstanden nach der Niederlassung im Kleiseerkoog 1885, wo Feddersen bis zu seinem Tod blieb; in der Stadtbücherei Niebüll sind Zeichnungen zu sehen (s. ds. Liste). Feddersen wird in dieser eingehenden Untersuchung gewürdigt als ein Maler, dessen Werk "zwischen Tradition und Moderne" einzuordnen ist. Am Anfang seines Werdegangs stehen die akademische Ausbildung und die Hinwendung zur naturalistischen Freilichtmalerei, später sucht er seine Motive bewußt in der heimatlichen Umgebung, das Spätwerk zeigt stark expressive Züge.
