Ein beeindruckendes Cover: Ein Mann, einsam mit seinem Schiff gegen die Gewalten des Meeres kämpfend, wird von oben her durch große geisterhafte Hände bedroht! Und das Cover hält, was es verspricht. Eine magische Welt tut sich vor uns auf mit ihren machtvollen Wesen, die von unberechenbaren Göttern gelenkt werden. Der schöne junge Held Odysseus mit dem feinen Gesicht und perfekt gestylten Bart erscheint schier blutlos - eine Figur aus einer anderen Welt. Große, im Profil gezeichnete Gesichter sprechen von Gefühlen, man möchte sie nicht stören. Der ausgiebige Text wirkt gegen die riesigen Szenen auf Doppelbildern noch kleiner, als er ist. Dieser betont mythischen Darstellung steht (bei gleichem Format und gleichen Preis) die von Pommaux gegenüber (vgl. ID-A 44/12), die als Rahmenhandlung den vorlesenden und erklärenden Vater zur Aktualisierung und Identifizierung einsetzt und sehr bewegte und bewegende Szenen in Comic-Kunst zeigt, in denen es spannend zur Sache geht. Die sich durch hohe Kunst und Künstlichkeit auszeichnende Auffassung von Frau Adreani sollte aber durchaus gezeigt und diskutiert werden.
