Meet Eddie Ginley - small time bingo caller and big time loser. He's lost his girlfriend and now maybe he's losing his marbles. He's even gone so far as to advertise his services as a 'gumshoe' in the local paper. Then one day he gets a call. A mysterious fat man hands him a package with the photo of a girl, 1000 GBP cash - and a gun. Er führt seinen Job zu Ende, bleibt jedoch als geschlagener Mann einsam zurück.
