Ihr Vater, durchtriebener Geschäftsmann im Fischbereich, lässt sie von einem jungen Dolmetscher in Rangoon suchen. Die beiden waren früher in einer Affäre verbunden. Ist das Leben der 2 Frauen zu retten? Der Thriller verfolgt bewegend eine gut ausgerüstete, realistisch anmutende, weltweit agierende Fischerei-Mafia, der Menschenleben gleichgültig sind und die das Meer als Lebensraum nicht zu schützen vermag. Etwas weitschweifig, doch überall gut einstellbar.
