Bibi freut sich darauf, dass ihr Freund Mikosch endlich wieder nach Falkenstein kommt, um ein Wildpferd zu begleiten, das Graf Falko in Ungarn gekauft hat. Aber Mikosch ist viel stiller als früher und Bibi hat Angst, dass er sie nicht mehr mögen könnte. Das erweist sich als unbegründet, denn tatsächlich hat Mikosch Ärger mit seinem Freund, dem Gestütsbesitzer Janosch, der vor lauter Geldsorgen seine schlechte Laune an dem Jungen auslässt. Als Mikosch davonläuft kommt Janosch besorgt nach Deutschland. Die beiden versöhnen sich und die Aussicht darauf, demnächst gute Geschäfte mit Graf Falkensteins Freunden machen zu können, lassen auch die Geldsorgen verfliegen. - Die Zielgruppe der einfach erzählten Geschichte in großer Fibelschrift sind, wie auch in "Tinas großes Turnier" (ID-A 13/15), Mädchen aus der 2. Klasse. Diese werden dank der seit Jahren gleichermaßen aus TV und Hörbuch bekannten und beliebten Hauptfiguren und des Pferdethemas sicher gerne zugreifen.
