1979 in einem kleinen Dorf im Pegnitztal: Bauunternehmer Georg Degenhardt entdeckt während seiner Arbeit kurz hintereinander 2 unbekannte Leichen. Zwischen den beiden Toten scheint es eine Verbindung zu geben. Georg geht der Sache nach und deckt dabei Geheimnisse mancher Dorfbewohner auf.

Fuchs, Jahrgang 1969, ist Physiker, Musiker, Verfasser von Hörspielen und Glossenautor verschiedener Satirezeitschriften. Mit viel Ironie und schwarzem Humor ist auch sein neuester Krimi, der Ende der 1970er-Jahre in der Umgebung seines Geburtsortes Altershofen im fränkischen Pegnitztal spielt, erzählt. Bauunternehmer Georg entdeckt bei der Verlegung einer Abwasserleitung durch den Friedhof in einem Grab eine unbekannte Tote. In der spießbürgerlichen Dorfgemeinschaft wird die Aufregung noch größer, als Georg kurz darauf eine weitere Leiche entdeckt. Da die Polizei sich nicht besonders interessiert zeigt, geht Georg der Sache nach und bringt die Abgründe mancher Dorfbewohner ans Licht. Kein actionreicher Krimi. Die Aufklärung der beiden Todesfälle ist eher Nebensache. Der auktoriale Erzähler gibt Einblicke in eine interessante Zeit deutscher Geschichte und blickt hinter die Fassade seiner teilweise skurrilen Figuren. Kurzweilig, mit hilfreichem Personenregister und einer zeitgeschichtlichen Übersicht. Auffälliges Cover. Kein alltäglicher Krimi und daher nicht nur in Süddeutschland empfehlenswert. Maria Lavadinho
