Die Tänze sind von Sportarten wie Golf, Tennis, Schwimmen und Akrobatik inspiriert. - Le Tricorne ist spanisch von Anfang bis Ende. Der in Andalusien geborene Picasso entwarf Bühnenbilder, Kostüme und den Bühnenvorhang, die für das Ballett eine Atmosphäre im Stil einer typisch spanischen Umgebung beschwören.
