A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Western Europe: of a desperate shortage of officers on the Western Front, as of April 5/6; that Army Group B considered on April 7 that the Allies intended to force a breakthrough at the eastern end of the pocket to open up a route to the Ruhr from the south-east; that Oberst Reichhelm, an operations staff officer of Army Group B, was required to see Hitler for a special task that would decide the fate of the Army Group, on April 7; and that a Georgean infantry battalion on the Dutch island of Texel mutinies, overcoming the German personnel there, on April 6
