Das Verfahren: Der FAMOS erfasst motivationale Ziele von Psychotherapiepatienten im Sinne von zentralen Komponenten motivationaler Schemata. Die motivationalen Ziele werden als Annaherungsziele (14 Skalen, z.B. Intimitat/Bindung, Status und Leistung) und Vermeidungsziele (9 Skalen, z.B. Alleinsein/Trennung, Geringschatzung und Versagen) mit insgesamt 94 Items erfasst. Die Iteminhalte wurden hierfur aus plan- und schemaanalytischen Fallkonzeptionen von Psychotherapiepatienten gewonnen. Neben einem Selbstbeschreibungsbogen existiert auch ein Fremdbeschreibungsbogen fur Therapeuten, der die gleichen Skalen erfasst. Innerhalb der Psychotherapie kann der FAMOS zur Vorbereitung und Planung der therapeutischen Beziehungsgestaltung, der Aktivierung von Patientenressourcen, der Durchfuhrung storungsspezifischer Interventionen und der motivationalen Klarung eingesetzt werden. Die Anwendung zur Erfassung motivationaler Ziele bei Normalpersonen ist ebenfalls moglich

Zuverlassigkeit: Die interne Konsistenz der einzelnen Skalen variiert in der Selbstbeurteilung bei Patienten zwischen &alpha, = .49 und &alpha, = .92, bei Normalpersonen zwischen &alpha, = .49 und &alpha, = .87 sowie zwischen &alpha, = .37 und &alpha, = .93 fur Studierende. Fur die Fremdbeurteilung ergaben sich Werte zwischen &alpha, = .55 und &alpha, = .93. Die Retestreliabilitat bei Studierenden variiert uber eine Woche zwischen r = .68 und r = .89 sowie uber vier Monate zwischen r = .35 und r = .88
